I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Chuck for quite a few years (since college…we took a basketball class together), so when they asked us to film his and Braden’s wedding, Trisha and I were ecstatic, to say the least. It hadn’t even been a full year since we filmed his brother’s wedding (Walt + Kayla) so we knew we were in for another treat hanging out with the Holland gang…
From rehearsal to the dinner to decorating for the wedding day festivities, even as a vendor, they made us feel like family. As a videographer, I can truthfully say that I love that because it allows us to work freely inside of our creativity and capture those intimate shots that might feel otherwise too intrusive to film.
As you’ll be able to tell from the highlight, Chuck is all about style. Everything matches…from the pink and blue shoes to the table decorations to the rings to the unity sand. It all ties in together. Even during the ceremony, you can see through the design (four aisles and four sets of chairs that form a spoke around the marriage platform) that it is laden with style purpose, not purpose to impress, but purpose to glorify God with their marriage. That’s extremely encouraging. What is beautiful is that even behind our camera lens, we are able to tell that the commitment that Chuck and Braden made to each other was pure and honest and destined for a lifetime.
Congratulations Chuck and Braden…here’s to a lifetime of happiness and Christ-centeredness!
